Prostitution

I do not condemn. I never wound dignity. I give these people space and hope at that stage of their lives, because that is all it is: a stage in the lives of those women, those young people, those children… Life does not begin or end with the enslavement of prostitution. Let us act! Let us not be cowards!

Maternities

In my Maternities, I portray the mother as always vigilant and watchful.
With her love, she protects her child.
LOVE transformed into shield and spear.

Afrika

The helplessness in the face of famine, in the face of the horror of death, in the face of the sterile dialogue between the trenches and the weapons, in the face of those dark eyes, black and lifeless, that never knew what a tender and comforting gaze was, in the face of that final cry of fear that shakes our souls, in the face of that flight to nowhere accompanied by the music of lamentation…

Religious Painting

My Passion… longs to emerge from the darkness and enter the Light of Hope, the Light of Resurrection, the Light of Happiness, the Light of Lights, which is the Light of Love.

Vertical Horizons

With my Vertical Horizons, through the complete liberation of the line, I seek to unite the earth with the sky.

Natures

… in this cycle, I am delving as deeply as my limited ability allows into the transition from the physical to the spiritual in painting; it is the step of embracing the concept of creation without being the creator. This is my current state as a painter and as a human being.

Butterflies

Why butterflies?
When I walk through fields and forests and come across a butterfly, I feel an overwhelming joy because where they are, we can still breathe, and they remind us that we still have time to save nature and, at the same time, save ourselves, for we too are nature.

Soldiers

… I also paint soldiers, but not soldiers who wage war.
What do my soldiers do? …
I don’t know either, but perhaps those who look at these paintings will give me the answer…
And I continue painting life, and in this way, painting, painting and painting, perhaps one day I may discover life.
