The Museum Jorge Rando was inaugurated in 2014 by Málaga City Council for the study and dissemination of Jorge Rando’s New Expressionism. The institution’s mission focuses on promoting spirituality and humanistic values through art.

Today, it is the first and only institution in Spain dedicated to the Expressionist and Neo-Expressionist movements, from their origins to the present day, with temporary exhibitions featuring artists such as Käthe Kollwitz, Ernst Barlach, Pablo Picasso, Henry Moore and Qi Baishi, among others.
